
Details on Wrestlemania Set
Here are some trivia about the upcoming Wrestlemania's set:
- Wrestlemania 24 will take place on March 30th in a 70,000 seat venue at Citrus Bowl in Orlando.
- There are 100 people working 16 hours a day to construct the Wrestlemania set.
- This Wrestlemania event will see the largest Pyrotecnics display in the history of WWE.
- A steel roof will be constructed above the ring to protect the wrestlers from rain and also to hang lights and a massive video board.Another Steel Structure will be constructed in the North End of the Stadium from where the Wrestlers will make their entrance.
- WWE has placed a hard plastic floor over the length of the entire football field so it can support its production structures and floor seating for fans.
- To make sure there is enough power for the lights and video boards they will be using upto 7 generators.They are also in touch will the city authorities to make sure everything have have planned in the football stadium is safe.
- The current plan is to complete the structure by March 29 so that there can rehearsals of the technical parts of the show.
- Once the event ends,it will take around 3-4 days to destroy the massive set and then the Citrus Bowl will continue hosting Football and Supercross events while WWE would start planning about Wrestlemania 25.
- Orlando is already pushing to bring back Wrestlemania to the market, perhaps as early as 2012. 2009 will be hosted by Houston, Texas. Phoenix has been pushing hard for Mania in 2010.
Closing Thoughts:
"The pyro and the fireworks are going to be amazing," said Brian Petree, WWE production manager. "Having a big bowl that's outdoors -- you can imagine. I shouldn't say any more than that."
Looks like its going to be better then ever.
