ECW Rating Is In
The 11/25 taping of ECW on SciFi, got a low cable rating of 1.3 (which was rounded from 1.27). Which is higher then last week's rating of 1.2, but still is a very low rating.

This is not a very low rating for ECW. This is a decent number for them, they won't be too pissed of with this number. This is the highest rating the original ECW ever done. Vince is obviously looking for something closer to a 2.0, but with the way rating have been going recently, this is not a very low rating for them. About average

My other comment was deleted (thanks for using the F word) but Silent Knight summed mine up. This is a fine rating for ECW, they've had lower, and it's still great for being on Sci Fi.

That's true..but still..a 1.3...
They started ECW again in what? 2006 or 2007...you'd think in two years they wouldve gotten a 2 by now...
But then you take a look at TNA...

I'm not sure you have a grasp on what influences ratings. TNA is the only wrestling show in the world to have a steadily higher average rating in the past 2 years. Ratings are down, big time from say 10 years ago across the board, not only wrestling. TNA has been on national t.v for only a few years. To go from a 0.4 to a 1.2 in that time is something there quite rightly are proud of. One big angle could get them that all important 2.0 in the next year or 2. the days of 6.0s are over. Raw now see's a 3.5 as a great rating, 4.0 as amazing. Smackdown see 2.7 as good, 3.0 amazing. ECW sees 1.3 as decent. 1.6 as amazing. TNA see's 1.0 as decent, 1.2 as a strong rating, anything higher will be something to celebrate for them.
