Edge's Interview

Currently injured WWE star Edge called into the Bubba The Love Sponge Show and commented on a number of things.

He mentioned that his Achilles Tear that happened back in July was the most painful injury he has ever experienced and it is unclear about when his return to the ring will be.

Bubba asked Edge when his WWE contract expires, to which Edge replied "Next June". He also mentions that he likes competition despite being a homegrown guy. But he made sure to comment that "WWE is the NFL of Wreslting."

When Edge was asked about his comments to Shane McMahon leaving the company, he said that he was very surprised. He mentioned that it would be hard to work for Vince McMahon AND be his son at the same time.

Edge praised Cena, Orton and Christian currently performing in the WWE.
He said that watching Orton is like watching a horror show, but in a good way.
He feels that Cena is one of the best workhorses that has ever graced the WWE and having Christian on ECW is a great move.

But when asked to comment on former girlfriend Lita, he simply said "She's out of the business."

   I can't wait to see Edge back in the ring again. He is one of the most exciting wrestlers of all time.
