As you might know, TNA has re-launched its Thursday night show called TNA Epics. This show's first season was ended three months from it's start and last Thursday debuted on Spike TV.
And now to the ratings. TNA Epics which followed TNA iMPACT! (1.3 cable rating) managed to gain a good 0.7 cable rating.
On the other hand, WWE Superstars scored a 0.8 rating with its replay later in the evening gaining a 0.3 cable rating.

So Superstars is doing better than TNA? A show with only 2 matches?

Might be because Superstars is new matches and Epics is a reply type show, Epics will flux in the ratings depending on who they showcase.

Or because TNA struggles for everything they get whereas the WWE name is more recognizable to casual fans.

Wouldn't it be great if there was nothing but WWE? Other "wrestling" is so pointless. Even if TNA had a good match or segment EVER (yeah right) it wouldn't mean nothing since the WWE name doesn't back it. I often jack off at night looking at Vinny Mac's picture.

Comment #9's got it. The great thing about wrestling is the legacy, the fact that today's wrestlers are competing in the same tradition as yesterday's. That means wrestling in WWE. The WWE name is what gives wrestling it's sense of history, and for that reason TNA will never be able to compete on the same level. The sooner people realize WWE is the only real wrestling, the better.
