Last week's newsreport said that WWE NXT dropped its viewership by 25% to 1,298,000 (a 400,000 people drop) from the 1.7 million views on its debut and the 1.73 million on the second episode.
This week's episode continues the disappointment as the 1.0 cable rating of last week dropped to a 0.9 cable rating and another drop in viewership; 1,162,000 viewers.

NXT is good but it could be better.

Sorry, I was working or I would have watched. Although WWE's new "Slap wrestling Era" that is coming doesn't look to promising.

I actually get pretty entrigued when WWE NXT comes on, i like watching it and hope it stays for a while. WWE need to advertise it more in order to get the viewers they are looking for.

I wonder if they ever take sites like Hulu into account to see who all else is watching the show. I don't get cable and Hulu is the only legitimate way to watch the show. Additionally, I really like it.

It will not work not cause its bad I just think 3 shows is pushing it right now. People have stuff to do and with the internet they can always watch it later.

Of course they don't count people who are watching their show via websites on the internet. That would just be ridiculous and open the doors for anyone and everyone to pad their numbers.

I dont care about the ratings! The people who is rating is thinking to much about wrestling instead of enjoy the show. I dont care so much about: " yerk bad kayfabe, that move should not have benn done, lol that those hate each other. But that those people who rating. They thinking to much about it, and that destroy wrestling for them. The grass is more green on the other side for them...
I dont care about the ratings, but sure, NXT could been better.

Oh yeah, and another thing: the only two WWE shows I watch are Superstars and NXT. They take me back to the days of my youth when there were more matches and promos than backstage segments and comedy pieces. I don't get cable and Raw isn't on Hulu (my TV viewing site of choice). Additionally, I've never cared for Smackdown, though it is up on Hulu.

If you really believe those guys on NXT are rookies there is really no hope for you. They may be new to the WWE but they are definitely not rookies.
"Daniel Bryan"'s resume is longer than his mentor's.

As fantastic as the concept is (and I 100% back it), those ratings are NOT going to go up unless John Cena appears on the show. The "little kids" are not interested in these guys, just Cena and his stupid Cenation gimmick. And it really pains me to say that, but that's the way it goes at the moment. If anything, NXT is for the older fans who want some great new wrestlers to watch, instead of Incredible Hulk-styled muscle bound entertainers who can barely pull off 10 moves. Sorry if this offends anyone

Comment #12 is the typical KID who watches WWE - ratings are based on viewership not show quality ... if it was about quality ... Chikara, RoH etc... will get 5 times WWE

It's strange how people praise TNA for their ratings (0.8) and think they can compete with the WWE. The WWE's smallest show pulls in a better rating (0.9), but that's bad news?

Here is the reality. WWE's C show is scoring the same as TNA's only show. That's all you need to know to compare the two companies. I am a fan as the concept, and any notion of "new talent" getting a chance on the BIGGEST and BEST company's roster, and hope the show stays around.

Of course people are tuning out. The guy people wanted to see most, AmDrag, is being jobbed out. While it could be a Kobashi -like debut, given all the hype behind him that makes ZERO sense. There's no reason AmDrag should be 0-4 right now.
Naturally of course this will be blamed on the newcomers so they'll get the shaft.
