Last Sunday 10th of January 10, 2010, Tony Halme was found dead in his apartment in Helsinki, Finland at the age of 47.
Police did not issue anything about the reason of his death but newspapers such as the Finnish tabloid newspaper, Ilta-Sanomat, are reporting that this former WWE wrestler also known by his WWE name of Ludvig Borga committed suicide using an illegally acquired firearm.
Halme wrestled with WWE between 1993 and 1994.

I remember Ludvig Borga, and he was one of my favourites at the time (even though, looking back he was quite robotic and didn't really connect with the crowd). I was always suprised that he didn't do better because he seemed to have all the tools.

The best thing about Ludvig Borga is that he played a scary, dominating foreign heel... from Finland. Which is, no offense, not really high up on the countries-that-threaten-our-nationalist-fears list.

Tony Halme was one of the few pro wrestlers who aspired and succeeded in politics. It is a shame that his life had to end this way.
