Former Tag Team Champion The Miz was told to stay in character during the live Ghost Hunters special last week on Halloween. This is according to a blog on the MySpace page of Ghost Hunters co-founder Grant Wilson.
Wilson admitted that it was obvious during the taping that he wasn't too happy with the "constant talking about wrestling and the Real World", but quickly added that The Miz was "honestly, a really, really nice guy".
The Miz also revealed before the show that the worst part of being a wrestler was having "to portray this cocky womanizer" and "to make everyone hate me".

Why? Miz was on a reality show so why not be able to drop the character? I can tell you if I was him, I would have complained like nobody's business because I would, for once, have wanted to show the real world, the real 'me'. Elijah and C.M. Punk didn't have to stay in character did they?

Who was he going to complain to? WWE? Yeah right. I'm sure they are the ones who told him to stay in character. The 'Ghosthunters' don't care. WWE takes themselves too seriously sometimes.

How stupid is that? I mean these guys take ghost hunting seriously, and Miz is told to act like this is all fake? This is coming from a company that relishes admiting they are fake almost to the point of changing the names as superstars to entertainers. I think its an insult to Wrestling, an isult to the TAPS team, and an insult to Ghost Hunter fans everywhere
