There were rumours that the long running WWE show called heat will be cancelled after it's 514th episode which has been comfirmed by WWE and WWE announcer Josh Matthews who has posted the following on a blog;
"Make sure to watch The Weekly Top 5 on WWE.Com every weekend and don't miss the FINAL episode ever of Heat as well, 513 episodes and now its all over!"
Heat last episode runs on sunday and will probably get a light hearted send off.

You used to get Heat on the non-sports channels on TV... and then they turned it into a web show... and then they turned it into a 'Premium Content' (pay-per-view) web show. Well I stopped watching it sometime along that road. I wonder how many others stopped watching it too. I used to really look forward to it - a nice little show with less of the down-your-throat PPV-hyping segments and showcasing some of the wrestlers you missed from the usual programs. Recently I discovered you can get a rip-off over some internet site, just like the other shows... but it's just not the same. I liked back when I could get WWE on TV. TV's better than web for TV programs (like, kinda duh obvious if you think about it). I'll catch the last one - hope they make something of it - they might, they might not. Ah well there's always TNA. Seriously, I think WWE should stagger some of their programs back onto normal non-expensive TV (and not just a compilation show that's half in-program adverts - an actual show of its own). This is clearly a move against that kind of thinking. *shrug* Cya, Heat.

I'm glad I have one of the scripts with Raven's notes from Heat before Judgment Day in Nashville (when Angle lost his hair). It was a good show and served its purpose back in the day. Sucks they treated it as they did the last few years.
