Huge Wrestlemania marketing campaign

When WWE does marketing, they do it right, check out some of the following marketing strategies they will be applying for the next two weeks:


- In major markets, WWE has approached several businesses to paint their shutters with a WM XXIV logo, featuring Big Show and Maywheather. So when the stores are closed, they become a huge billboard for Wrestlemania.


- They want to rent a plot of land near the Orlando National Airport, so it can feature their logo. The logo is meant to "greet" all fans landing at the airport to see Wrestlemania.


- They will give away a customized WM XXIV motorcycle


- A blimp will feature commercials, and will float over several other events (including NASCAR)


- 30% more mailing to cable subscribers than last year, this comes down to 2 million pieces of mail


- Bright House Networks will be running three minute promotional commercials in 70,000 hotel rooms in Florida.


Price of the entire campaign is not yet known.
