Impact Rating for 5/7
Thursday's episode of TNA Impact! drew a 1.2 cable rating. This is down from the prior week's 1.5. Also, Impact did a better cable rating this week than ECW on Sci-Fi, which grabbed a 1.1 rating.

I know this may sound wierd, but I dont beleive it. Nothing against you or the news source, I just dont see how a product about a month ago was strugling to get 1.1- 1.2 ratings jumped almost 100%.
Did Wrestlemania and Backlash suck that bad?

Not really, it's just casual fans love big unexpected names, and all my quasi-mark buddies just ate up Foley as champ. He's doing pretty damn well too :P

this is false.Impact rating is 1.09.Even ecw is better than tna atm.And riotus i think your an idiot..seriously.I bet you havent even watched them..just lookd the results.Wrestlemania was one of the best in history..and backlash new eras begun.

Comment # 5 what are you twelve and your parents wont let you watch a mans show. WWE sucks and has for a few years i cant even set threw the first match the story lines our old and recycled the guys there dont put on half as good a show and some just plan suck (cough!! Cena) TNA is good but not the best watch ROH you might not know one guy there but they are better.

Whatever man. Anyway, what gives you guys the right to judge what kind of rating TNA could or couldn't get. Especially this kid who doesnt leave his name. He clearly doesnt watch TNA and only watches WWE because of Cena.

What gives us the right to judge what kind of rating TNA could or couldn't get? It's based on observation and data. You observe the data (past ratings) and then make the judgment that TNA is years away from getting a 1.9 rating. This judgment may turn out to be wrong, but it's the far more probable scenario.

What about the other four reports contradicting what they said?

On ewrestlingnews, two posts down from "TNA iMPACT Rating Breakdown: Who Drew & Who Didn't" was "TNA iMPACT! Rating Is In, RVD Pulls Out & Apologizes" where they gave the rating as 1.2. That website did, in fact, point it out differently in another post.

But I will change it to 1.2 as the INDIVIDUAL REPORT that I used on ewrestlingnews is obviously incorrect. The breakdown that I am reading also makes it look like a 1.2. Maybe now everyone will hop off my jock.
