Jericho's shot at TNA

During the "State of TNA" address, Eric Bischoff has commented that he never "crapped on" Chris Jericho. He says that he likes Jericho but he doesn't think that he can headline as a wrestler.

In a heated response, Jericho had a good comeback with the following on his Twitter page.
"Bischoff is right. I can't headline in TNA...cos I'm not in my 50's."

   You need to do your homework my friend. Bischoff did more than miss on just Austin. He has a huge list of guys he missed the Boat on. Accidentally successful (if you say so) is still successful. Being a heel doesn't mean you can't be popular. You're right, you never said Jericho couldn't main event, but what you said demonstrate that you can't tell the difference between headlining/main eventing and title holding. NEWSFLASH. Those headlining TNA right now are not any of the guys holding titles except maybe AJ. Jericho wasn't talking about them and he was dead on with his comment. Let me just say, I'm a Wrestling Fan... Not a WWE fan, not a TNA fan, a WRESTLING FAN... I will watch anything wrestling, it either good or it isn't. I was a bigger TNA fan than WWE fan until Hogan and Bischoff came in.

    Comment 9, you know that what you're saying is just as ridiculous as saying that Jericho can't main event TNA. Who's getting the spotlight besides AJ, Desmond and Daniels? Hall, Waltman, Foley, Jarret, 3D, The Nasty Boys, Flair and for crying out loud Val freaking Venis. And what about the guys that weren't able to make it in WWE. Face it, TNA has a lot of talent but right now they're wasting them.

    Hey FACTS... Headline or Main eventing isn't the same as holding a Title... Douche. As far as Bischoff is concerned. He can be kinda hit & miss with talent. Look how he has treated guys like Jericho, Austin, Eddie, Benoit & Foley just to name a few. HE SAID HE COULDN"T DO ANYTHING WITH STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN, Who is possibly the greatest of all time. And he is way off with Jericho.

    Yeah, your right... WWE didn't know what to do with Austin to start with, but that lasted what six month... a year?
    
    Austin was in WCW for 4 years. Bischoff said that Austin was an unmarketable wrestler. Good call. Austin 3:16, ever heard of it? Do I need continue?

    Austin wasn't marketable in wcw because he wouldn't lose the pretty boy look. Wwe got lucky with Austin. They accually failed badly with Austin in a sence. because he was suppose to be a heel, that the fans embrace. That was not Vince's plan. What made Austin so popular was Vince was smart enough to get out of the was. Not to mention Bret Hart's charactor allowed Austin to develop into that. WCW did not have that charactor that could make the Austin thing blossom. But don't thing Vince saw him and say I have a great idea. we'll make him a badass Texan Rattlesnake face.
