A major altercation between Joey Styles (Styles works with WWE.com now) and JBL took place during the WWE's trip to Iraq. JBL, who is notorious for being a bully backstage, chose Joey Styles to be his victim for that week. The entire trip JBL was insulting Joey Styles in front of the soldiers and other WWE employees. JBL even intentionally spilled a drink all over Styles. After taking the abuse for a few days, Styles decided to take a stand and confronted JBL about the abuse. Things began to get physical, which led to Styles dropping JBL with ONE PUNCH and giving him a nice cut under his eye. Several WWE employees stepped in to break it up, but the damage had already been done.
At Raw last night JBL was uncharacteristically quiet. Styles tried to make the incident sound like nothing happened. In most companies an event like this would lead to someone getting fired, but most within WWE have a feeling that this actually helped Styles score points with Vince McMahon for standing up for himself. Plus some of the boys in the back felt that it was only a matter of time before JBL got his.

Power of the Punch, it's not just for Brits anymore you know. I love this article, JBL had it coming and I'm glad that for the pencilneck Styles (compared to JBL who's quite a big guy) he got to take a stand.

XD Joose, and please, Disney, Hallmark, Mel Gibson, someone do an inspirational movie on The Life of Joey Styles, and have a 20 minute mortal komat/ kill bill/ star wars jedi fight scene between these two, just to convey the shear epicness of the moment to non-pro wrestling fans.
