In the recent blog of WWE Hall of Famer, Jim Ross, he talks about the departure of the last ECW original, Tommy Dreamer.
I received a wonderful text message from Tommy Dreamer on Christmas Day that confirmed that he was leaving WWE. Tommy did not mention what he was going to be doing but I would assume that Dreamer will be doing more wrestling. Tommy has been a great solider for the business and is a credit to his profession. He thanked me for my efforts on is behalf but he's the one who deserves the thanks.
He also commented on Bret Hart and Bret's future with the company.
Seems as if the Bret Hart hosting Monday Night Raw on January 4 is apparently a lock according to the programming guide . I got a cool email from 'Hitman' during the holidays but we never discussed his projected or potential Raw appearance.
The blog can be seen at the source.

Great to see Bret Hart making a come-back. He was a great talent. Shame I don't have Sky so won't be able to watch it. :(
Good to see JR on the mend (seemingly so) too.

A long time ago, in a galazy far far away....Tommy Dreamer was a king of hardcore. Here lately he's been nothing more than a joke. He reminded me of an old dog who suffered and just needed to be put down. WWE has that effect on alot of its talents, and I'm glad he left on his terms to pursue greener pastures. It hasn't been the land of Extreme in ages, and now hopefully they'll see this monstrousity for what it really is. Extremely crappy.
