According to the source, Lashley has signed a long-term contract with TNA. He plans to remain with the company for awhile. He was on a three day contract when he debuted at the TNA pay-per view Lockdown and the two TV tapings in Orlando. It is said that they were trying to agree upon a contract that would allow Lashley to work with TNA, aswell continue his MMA career. They were hoping to get him on a contract that would have him be a sponsered fighter and would appear on Spike TV. Nothing has been said if TNA has agreed with what Lashley's agents want or if they have.

Personally, Im against it. Few liked him in WWE, and he never proved himself to be a great pro wrestler.

That's because he was just starting out, but most great actual wrestlers/ martial artists transition pretty well. However, this report kinda confuses me, is he still a MMA fighter, only now he's sponsored by TNA and will do appearances there, or is he a full-time TNA wrestler?

As long as TNA doesn't interfere with his MMA career, I can see this going well. Especially if Lashley continues winning in MMA, with TNA increasing Lashley's publicity and their deal with SpikeTV, UFC could be in Lashley's future.
