Leading Venue For WMXXVII

It is being reported that The Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN is the leading candidate to host WWE WrestleMania 27 in 2011.

The last time a WM was held in IN, was in 1992 which hosted WM 8. The Lucas Oil Stadium can seat 70,000 people, and opened on the 14th of August 2008 and replaced the Hoosier Dome.

Interestingly WM 8 holds the record for most WM tickets given away, roughly 15,000.

it would be cool though if they did come to indy. Outside of conseco fieldhouse and a few years at Ball State University for smackdown house shows. They really don't come around as much as they once did. Before Indiana seemed to become a black hole for them, they came to the university of notre dame all the time.
