Major WWE/ECW Changes

According to a new report by PWinsider, WWE will be puling the plus of WWe Heat series and will be bringing ECW on Sci Fi Tapings to the raw brand starting this June after a company tour of Australia

The Plan is to get the interest and ratings up for ECW so they will air it just before Raw is aired on monday nights. 

With the company making this move it has been assumed that all ECW roster will join forces with Raw house show events as well, but this hasn't been confirmed. As a result, the Smackdown brand would become stand-alone TV taping and house show events.

WWE has informed TV affiliates that a "WWE Classics" series utilizing old footage would be replacing Heat very soon.

   I hate to see Heat go as it's the only way for some guys like Charlie Haas to get any 'tv time'.
   
   Oh well more evidence that Punk will be going to challenge the Raw Champion...too bad he had to take all of ECW with him - Smackdown could use the extra talent.

   that'll destroy heat i think they shud get rid of raw and make it ECW.

   Agreed with Chowder, this is a slap in the face to Haas, Val Venis, Jim Duggan, and a lot of other older guys who have worked hard for ages but have never gotten the big break. Hopefully there will be some room for them somewhere.

   I honestly prefer the days when Heat was on TV, it was better than ECW is often.
