It was earlier reported that WWE Intercontinental Champion JBL is considering retirement after WrestleMania 25 due to an ongoing Injury.
In a recent blog by Jim Ross he hinted at a possible feud with JBL and Vladimir Koslov over the IC title. With CM Punk involved in the Money In The Bank it begins to rule out competitors. With only Rey Mysterio on the RAW brand unused at the moment.
With JBL teaming with Koslov next week on RAW there is the possibility of JBL turning face and turning on Koslov and retiring as IC Champion at WrestleMania and making history again, being the first male retiring with a championship. In 2006 Trish Stratus became the first female to do this retiring as Women's Champion.

Yay they are going to ruin another career. JBL is known for being an @$$ to the world... now is he retired as the hardcore drinking Bradshaw (which he won't) then I would be ok with that.

they need to offer bradshaw another job as a announcer he was entertaining and knowledgeable during his last stint behind the mic. Maybe even replacing that total screwup micheal Cole

I don't see JBL turning face that quickly. He's been a pretty bad heel for the past 4 years or so. Kozlov would have to turn on him and really beat his ass. I think it'll be Rey. Probably in a Triple Threat. They just had a IC tourney so I'd see JBL dropping it to either Kozlov or Rey at WM.

I'm glad this could happen. I'm not a JBL fan but I still love "thank-you" title runs and I'd also much prefer to see him in another capacity besides active wrestler.

lol Dan Kolov obviously you don't know much. just because he is "mean" to the fans and he is a "bad guy" doesn't mean anything. he's still one of the most talented performers in the business and does his job well. People don't have to tell JBL twice. he's on it as soon as he knows his job. He has amazing mic skills also, so it would be good if he was still an announcer.
