MVP on the current state of wrestling

In a recent interview with The Huffington Post, MVP discussed Wrestling Ric Flair and how wrestling seems to be getting a bad reputation, due to a number of wrestlers dying young, and the WWE's product.

He had this to say;
"There has to be a line drawn between the old guard and the new guard. A lot of guys dying young came from our profession in a different era. They came up in a time where contract were structured very differently. If you didn't work, you didn't get paid. If you didn't get paid, you couldn't feed your family. Guys worked through injuries taking pain medication and whatever other drugs so they could get through the schedule. It's different now. If we were injured, our medical is taken care of. We're still paid. Once upon a time you'd go into locker rooms, and you'd see guys drinking beer or getting high. Nowadays, you'd see guys drinking energy drinks or protein shakes. It's changed a lot."

"I think WWE and the McMahon family have made huge strides in making wrestling a more palatable product. I challenge you to find an 8-year-old kid who doesn't know who John Cena is or doesn't have action figures in their toy box. We've become so much more."

    inishing moves

    * Attitude Adjustment/ F–U(Fireman's carry transitioned into either a standing takeover or a powerslam) – WWE
    * Killswitch (OVW) / Proto–Bomb[2] (UPW)
    * STF / STF–U
    * Diving leg drop bulldog
    * Dropkick, sometimes from the top rope
    * Fisherman suplex
    * Five Knuckle Shuffle(Running delayed fist drop, with theatrics)
    * Running leaping shoulder block
    * Running one–handed bulldog
    * Throwback (Running neck snap to a bent–over opponent)
    * Sitout hip toss
    * Spinebuster
    * Thesz press followed by multiple punches
    * Twisting belly to belly suplex
    That's 13 John Cena signeture/trademark moves that he knows/does... on top of the ocational small package and link moves (headlock etc).

    Not really! Cena doesn't use even a 1/4 of those moves and they're from the past. And i'd dare you to name them without going to Wikipedia or other places. Just using your mind... Asshole

    original wrestling moves? considering wrestling has been going around for a LONG time it is unlikely anyone uses original wrestling moves. ie check out this move i made up. apart from if you're one of those kids that rthinks jumping off stuff equals wrestling? haha
