New Japan hopes to work more with TNA

Earlier this month, both Team 3D and the Motor City Machineguns won the IWGP Tag Team titles and the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team titles respectively at Wrestle Kingdom III in Tokyo, Japan.

The reason for this is that New Japan is hoping that they can run title matches in the US that can be broadcast back in Japan. They are working to improve their relationship with TNA, even to the point of getting former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag champions NO LIMIT (Yujiro and Tetsuya Naito) to learn basic English so that they can have an extended stay in the US. The idea is for them to feud with the Motor City Machineguns over the titles.

TNA has yet to mention their victories, however, because the Global Impact II special will only be airing in February.
