Nigel McGuinness interviewed with The UK Star, talking about why he went to TNA and what happened with the WWE:
Regarding his "failed test" with the WWE:
"I had a clean bill of health from my orthopedic guy and my local doctor, so it's not about that. I don't hold against anything against them, it was a business decision, and they were only doing what they think is best for them."
Regarding TNA:
"I am very glad for the opportunity to work in TNA. I know AJ, Daniels, Joe and those guys from ROH already - when I first came in there I was watching them work and learning from them. Its a real positive for me having Doug and Nick here too."

He's going to that looser's show? Oh well, he should have luck getting himself known over there.

When I heard the news the first time I suspected something like a failed test beeing a possible reason.
So it won't suprise me if this "failed test" has nothing to do with his physical abilities and rather has something to do with a health code violation.
Too bad, I'd have loved to see him in WWE. Then again it's one more reason to watch TNA on a regular base. Especially with Steiner and Booker gone, which leaves more room for the young talent. I sure hope they improve their creative department cause otherwise it'll still suck

Well, TNA is millions of times bigger than ROH, so if WWE didn't want him there wasn't much else open to him.
Once he makes it big Vince will come crawling and Nigel will just laugh at him.

For his first PPV he's up against Kurt Angle. Angle isn't gonna put him over other than a cheat end or a disqualification.

Nobody makes it big on TNA Adam. Vince doesn't even care for that show, he doesn't even know about it for all we know.

Vince has ordered many little digs in the direction of TNA in the past. So he obviously cares for it.

I've seen some of Nigels stuff, and he's not terribly impressive, his rebound stuff looks sloppy, his headstead dropkick is dumb, and there's not much there that looks decent.
