Notes From WWE's Annual Shareholders Meeting

Here are a few notes from WWE's annual Share Holders meeting. As previously reported talk of a 5th WWE show is mentioned.

* WWE has signed a deal with Pepsi.

* Playboy wanted to work with WWE again this year but was turned down due to the PG Rating.

* Vince is considering cancelling the upcoming tour of Mexico due to the Swine Flu Out break, Vince also announced a Mexico tour in October.

* Vince mentioned that holding a Wrestlemania or other PPV overseas would be difficult due to having it air live in the States. He brought up Summerslam 1992 and how it was a tape delay and bad for business.

* Vince also spoke on possibly doing a tour of China and that China will have a big part in WWE's future

* It was announced that WWE has a big marketing plan for WWE Summerslam 2009.

   maybe now they will have wrestlers onpepsi adverts, like cena or jericho, pepsi get real coming out of a wrestlers mouth no thank you.

   Summerslam 1992 was a 24hour tape delay, lmao...
   It happened on the Saturday, airing in the States on the Sunday evening.... and bad for buisness? right..... near-enough sold out Wembley Stadium

   For one, there has been no swine flu "outbreak" jesus...quit buying into the fear mongering.
   
   Second, PG rating is a joke. For this reason, I'll never spend another dime on WWE, ever. Telling your old fans to go to hell isn't the smartest business decision.
   
   Third, a deal with Pepsi? Great. The exact problem with this world. Corporate interests over individual liberties.
   
   Nice to see Vince is working with psycho Communists in China. They should get along just fine, since they both censor everything and are extrememly oppressive.
   
   WWE has turned into another propaganda arm of corporations and nothing more.
