Paul Heyman's Return to Wrestling?

The Sun put up part of Vince Russo's book, 'Rope Opera: How WCW Killed Vince Russo. Part' of the quoted parts regarded Heyman. Russo said:  "Oh, and one last thing, for the record: I called Paul E personally to ask him to join TNA. He declined."

No dates were mentioned about when Russo contacted Heyman but the book was published on the 22nd of January 2010.

By that time, TNA did not have the heavy presence of ECW originals like Rob Van Dam.

On his Twitter, Taz and Tommy Dreamer noted that they had dinner with Paul Heyman and Brother Ray in New York.

Since Tommy Dreamer is wishing to sign for TNA, this dinner might have been the latest attempt at signing Heyman with TNA.

TNA is home to a number of people who were managed by Paul Hyman such as Rob Van Dam, Taz, Kurt Angle, Matt Morgan and Rhino.

Will Heyman's ECW friends such as Taz, Brother Ray and RVD make a stronger push to get Heyman into TNA?

Yes Tommy Dreamer, i read a report last week, said that he is interested in TNA ... if TNA get Heyman, then that is when WWE should really worry .. .REMEMBER - when he left WCW, WCW started the downfall.

This is utter nonsense, he had dinner with friends, he won't work with Bischoff.

If Heyman joins TNA, its gonna be the wisest choice for TNA - Tommy Dreamer will be a sure signing after that and Sabu too (RVD there and wants him in ... all he needs is a past manager to be sure) - and let us face it ... many and many people want Heyman's return and it is SURE that he will NEVER sign with WWE since he left them after disputes with Vince

TNA should have signed Heyman instead of Eric. Heyman won't make much difference in TNA while Hogan and Eric are running things. Such a shame.

Heyman would be a good addition to TNA as they could use him in a storyline vs bischoff...just think bischoff has beer money, the band, ....vs heyman and rvd, eric young, jarrett, hardy....HOGAN would then play the middle man and stress BUSINESS, NOT PERSONAL ISSUES between the two..

I Hate TNA,They have a second rate show, they have second rate talent. And the only reason there beating WWE in ratings is because of the X-WWE superstars Example: Bokker T,Scott Steiner,Ric Flair,RVD,Hulk Hogan,Eric Bishcoff,Tazz, and now Tommy Dreamer?

comment #7 how can you say TNA has second rate talent when WWE is runnign around with World Champions like Batista soon to be Cena not much of a step up is it. & for the record comment #8 is right, TNA havn't beat WWE in ratings. I watch TNA impact, NXT, Raw, Smackdown & occassionally Superstars. So I am unbiased before any says anything.
