According to the source, the current plan is for Chris Jericho to take the World Title in the Elimination Chamber at the PPV. This way, they can set up a rematch between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels at WM 26. Edge would then use his challenge to face Jericho for the title at Mania, with the build-up storyline likely focusing on Edge and Jericho's tag team past. The team broke up when Edge was injured, and Jericho went on to team with The Big Show.
These plans, as always, are subject to major change, but these are the current plans.

This really seems to be a obvious solution to putting together HBK and Taker at WM 26. Jericho V Edge in the Main event would be a really good match as Jericho has good matches with whom ever he faces. I think what would make it even better is if somehow they get HBK into the World title chamber match when it's down to Jericho and Taker and HBK Superkicks Taker getting Jericho the win, that would set it up really nice i think.

i dont understand why everyone wants jericho edge at mania they may be both amazing competitors but im not exactly sure how a match would go between them i mean i wouldnt expect brilliance from them since both of them are heels they wont be able to set either of them up as indomitable hero's who just wont stay down and they cant have either of them feed of the crowd since they are meant to hate the crowds also two faces can work eg hulk hogan and ultimate warrior and rock vs austin but two heels is never going to be greatest match ever since there cant be any emotional drama

how do these spoilers get out onto the net? Last year Vince was firing people for not keeping things secret and being leaks, now he encourages it?

The reason he encourages it, is because now he can swerve people, and it will piss the IWC(us) off when he does so, because our spoilers reported wrong.

@Phil, are you blind? edge is a FACE now, he began his face turn before he got injured, and now he is just about finished the turn. The fact you wouldnt think that the match would be anything other than EPIC is crazy man!! who wouldnt want to see, two of the companies best, on the mic and in the ring going at it.

What I would like to see is HHH vs HBK but HBK as the heel this time. A good lead up could be DX go for the tag titles but HBK just loses it and kicks everyone includin the ref and HHH setting up a classic match between face HHH and heel HBK somethin thats yet to be done

I have been posting for awhile that Jericho would win at EC, like was said before, as soon as Edge won the Rumble. It is the only storyline to make sense as to why Edge would win the Rumble.
As for Taker vs HBK, no I don't want to see it again as there will only be two results from it.
Either Michaels senselessly wins and breaks the streak to prove only to himself that he can win in a scripted match and tag on another benchmark for his own ego, wrecking the chance of any newcomer to have an instant legendary status as the 'Streak-Breaker'.
OR
Taker wins and Michaels retires after Mania as he 'can't compete in the big matches anymore'.
Both results are bogus storylines and should not be seen through. I'd rather see HHH get involved and ruin Michaels chance at Taker to break this 'obsession' of his and have DX feud at Mania. Definitely bigger match potential than a last year rematch.
Which of course could still be the plan. Michaels vs Taker part 2 happens. HHH helps Michaels win. The streak is broken. Michaels gets mad at Hunter for not letting him 'do it on his own'. Everyone wins... except the fans who have to watch another cheap ending.

maybe triple h wins raw chamber and faces john cena again because triple h is sick of the fact that cena beat him at WM 21 or shelton benjamin because of the biggest FLUKE in history shelton pining HHH because of chris benoit

Here's how is should go down. HBK vs HHH, Edge V Jericho, Taker v Some random who wins. and then HBK and Taker should retire, because they're both gettin' on in years. And nobody wants to see Taker rolling around in the ring because his hips finally collapsed.

I'm happy about Edge vs. Jericho.
I'm not happy about Taker vs. HBK. I have the feeling Michaels is going to break the streak, and if they're going to have someone do that (I hope they don't), HBK just isn't the right one. His overness is already as high as it can get, tagging on the title of "Streak-Ender" will do nothing for him. That said, and especially if HBK wins, I hope it's the match of their lives.

If they are going Taker vs. Michaels again, at least make it a specail kind of match or something, which probably couldn't be possible, both men are getting pretty old. Michaels will be taking another uneeded break after Mania for probably healing and I heard Taker will probably do the same. You can either do that for the rest of your life, or just simply retire.
