Many websites are giving the first ideas of this Monday Night's ratings.
The majority of websites are planning a big decrease in RAW ratings with these websites giving a very harsh critique of the show. One is to remember that RAW has big problems with travel issues and had to combine the show with the SmackDown roster.
On the other hand, these websites are giving a high credit and a rise for TNA's ratings. Something that these websites are using as proof is the fact that TNA promised a lot of surprises and many wrestling news websites were coming up with many matches such as Rob Van Dam vs. Jeff Hardy which eventually did occur.
Despite the fact that many are considering this TNA iMPACT! episode to be one of the best in a very long time, one has to wait and see since the last shows made TNA lose a lot of fans.

TNA did a very good job this week. One will watch RAW and note that everything was done in a hurry due to very long promos. Nonetheless Undertaker vs Jack Swagger was a very good match and Swagger looked amazing in it...and it was longer than 10 mins which was kind of surprising due to Undertaker's condition.

Raw was not very good and yes the weather played into it but to me it was the same old show. The celeberty thing is a joke at best. The show is really getting back to a doink the clown era feeling to it. When will WWE learn.
As far as TNA. They pretty much did a PPV for their show. Cant believe they gave RVD the title that soon but it was a great match and a shocker. The Sumo Joe thing was blah

If TNA fanboys claim this as a victory, it'll only be a shallow one because they were against a crippled show. Having RVD win the TNA title, congrats to him. But I got the feeling that RVD will soon loose the title, maybe at the next PPV. That's just my opinion, don't be hating.

I didn't the Raw show was that bad. It definitely could have been a lot worse.
I didn't get to watch Impact, but I read the results and it sounded like a really good episode. The only question remains is whether or not they can keep these kind of shows up.

The matter of the fact is, until TNA makes some major changes to there product, on top of getting a new network, plus more popularity, there is NO REASON, to compare the ratings. Besides, there not in competition, just idiot TNA marks love to believe so, WWE doesn't even see them as competition worth worrying about. Right now TNA needs to worry about themselves and themselves only and go back to there 05-06 days and put on good PPV's and learn to book there weekly show better.

TNA could put on the best show of their life, and they won't even hit a 1.5. The problem is that the vast majority of wrestling fans (inb4 "true" wrestling fans) either aren't aware of TNA or don't care to get involved in watching it.

@#6 There is alot of truth in what you said. That being said TNA can be competitive but its a long road that needs little victories like the last show. TNA isn't just going to suddenly bump up to anywhere near WWE ratings in one week or a year for that matter. In fact its a ratings battle they probably will never win and if they do then ole Vincey may just buy them out making Ms. Dixie laughing all the way to the bank. Damn, I hope something like that never happens.

What have I been saying for months now?? I said TNA was going to be better than RAW, and now look at all of these comments. The reason they're so successful is that they're starting their own attitude era. At least I know who the true TNA fans are on this site, and who are jumping on the band wagon because of an MVD post. And for once, no, that's not an insult toward MVD. He actually did a real good job and opened the eyes of all the unbelievers. Modifying the words of Rowdy Roddy Piper: "I was TNA before TNA was cool."

It's funny 6, 7, and 8. You live in this little sick world where you can forgive anything RAW does and no advancement for TNA is going to be given due credit. Comment #8, A "true wrestling fan" only watching WWE? That's hilarious, in my consideration a "true" wrestling fan will be checking out the indies, watching AAA out of Mexico, supporting their local federations (yo Ohio Pro!) and tape trading/collecting classic DVDs from the past. What you're talking about isn't a "true wrestling fan", it's a closed-minded mark for anything Vince's company is willing to squeeze out for you. News for you last three, you hate TNA so much? quit watching it, you come off like three little girls who aren't getting their way and are whining about it.
I'm sick to death of you punks constantly praising the Cena-Orton show (let's face it, that's what it's become) and ripping TNA apart, no critical analysis, no reasoning for it, just "TNA SUCKS". Brilliant criticism, from I'll sarcastically assume brilliant minds. We know you love Raw, we got the picture, We know you hate TNA no matter what, now move the hell on. I've been watching wrestling for longer than the majority of you have been a glint in your father's eye. To be told basically that "real" wrestling fans don't know about TNA. We freakin' know. You ever hear of Pro Wrestling Illustrated? how 'bout the Observer? Dave Meltzer or Stu Sacks. Perhaps you could revise your statement to say "true wrestling fans WHO ARE 12 don't really know about TNA." That may be a tad more accurate. Sure I understand this is an online game with its fair share of trolls, but I'll call out silly illogic like that anytime, anywhere I hear it. Vince has has a monopoly for far too long, ratings or not, TNA is vital, so is Dragon Gate, ROH, NWA/Regional, Ohio Pro, and anywhere else there are a group of people training out of the love of the wrestling. Vince will never understand you can't own people's passion, you can't eliminate hungry competitors trying to do something better. Hate on TNA all you'd like. RAW in it's present form is like trying to eat that suspicious container of chinese food that's been in your fridge for a couple weeks. It may be ok, but........

Comment10: If TNA is so successful now, why is it that there buy rates for there PPV's are now lower than back when they was showing 10 in the evening for one hour? It's because the product is god damn awful, I'm glad it's around, because it's a nice alternative from the 'E, but at the moment it's not competition to the WWE. WWE's concerned with other shows more than TNA that are not even wrestling related, enough said. Meaning TNA needs to step up there game big time. And face it, at the end of the day if Dixie's daddy decides at some point that TNA is not working for him, he will stop Panda Energy from funding them. So if they don't step up there game and make some real success, they won't be around much longer, on top of that Hogan wants to stop house shows, bye bye profits much?

Well hogan is an idiot. But you have a point Mitsuomi. However just maybe, last nights show is what TNA needed to find its identity, becaue what they have been putting on lately has been making TNA fans tune out. Yesterday was something special and TNA needs to take note.

Comment 11, did I defend RAW once? No, congratulations upon making a point out of nothing, I absolutely hate the WWE if you must no, at the same time I dislike TNA, I stick to watching Dragongate and ROH when given the choice. So congrats, you made your self look like a douche bag.

FFS, I said inb4 "true" wrestling fans because whenever someone mentions that most wrestling fans (i.e. the masses of casual fans) don't care about TNA there's always some asshat who argues that all true wrestling fans watch TNA. I was not arguing that true wrestling fans only watch WWE, I was anticipating people trying to define a "true" wrestling fan in a way that supported their position. Anyway, I understand this is an online game with its fair share of trolls, but I'll call out silly illogic like that anytime, anywhere I hear it.

Ever since Hogan has come, it looks like TNA is a lot more worried about WWE when TNA should just worry about TNA.

I don't do TNA, the firs time i watched it i turned of the TV, TNA reaching WWE they have a whole lot to do before they can compare TNA to WWE. Like everything you have your ups and downs, Raw had it Ups and it's Downs, TNA had it ups and Downs. In the end statement WWE has more fans than TNA. TNA will have to do a MAJOR work if they want to be in the same league.
I leave with this, RAW>TNA, a one little show does not define who is better. If we were judjing by that, we would have to count all the good shows of RAW and all the good shows of TNA.
