Punk Reveals The Reason Behind The "GTS"

In a recent interview with the Pensacola News Journal, CM Punk has revealed why e calls his finisher (A Fireman's Carry Overhead drop to knee strike to face) the "Go To Sleep".

"I pick the guy up in a fireman’s carry, boost him over my head and throw him down. As he’s falling toward the mat, I knee him directly in the face," "It's called "go to sleep" because they wouldn't allow me to call it the "go to hell." It knocks guys out."

In the interview Punk also discusses being Straight-edge, going into the Movie business, and what the CM stands for.

Hate to agree with Rag on something..

But it was taken from KENTA not Kobashi.. Also it can look BRUTAL as hell if sold and executed properly

...I officially hate CM Punk now.

He'll probably claim to have invented the Anaconda Vice next.

He seems to have forgot to mention he stole the move from kenta kobashi in japan. I love how these modern day wrestlers dont give any dues to the old timers.

Heh ... both comments above me are funny.
First, he took the move from KENTA, not Kobashi Kenta ( those two are different wrestlers )
Second, it is not lame. When done properly, it is devastating.

Comment 1# & 2# - Fear Ragnar's wrath! ;-) Well it's an okay finisher, it's just under-billed. After all a GTS could in theory screw up your face.
