It was reported here earlier that Jim Cornette was released from TNA. According to the source, the reasoning is that he got into a heated verbal argument with Vince Russo at a recent TV taping. Apparently the altercation happened during a meeting, in which Cornette flipped out because they decided on a bigger push for Eric Young. Russo stayed calm throughout the entire situation, but Cornette continued to complain, even after the meeting let out. This is not the first time Cornette got into a backstage altercation during his time with TNA, and his temper got him released from the WWE 4 years ago after a physical altercation with Santino Marella.

It was in OVW. While there, he was involved in an infamous incident with Jim Cornette, the company's head booker and part-owner. After a storyline where he was supposed to act afraid of the Boogeyman but instead laughed, Cornette yelled at and slapped Santino.
