Ric Flair's Contract Status

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Nature Boy Ric Flair is currently working for WWE without a contract. The company has opted not to sign Flair because they want complete control over their talent, and so far this week Ric Flair is sending out press releases stating he's not exclusive to WWE, he might still be seeking bookings.

   WWE doesn't want to sign Flair because WWE can't control him, and if WWE can't control you they will not give you a contract. This article was written very poorly. If your gonna quote what someone else says use the whole quote not just part of it so you don't make the person who really wrote it and yourself sound stupid. By the way this is old news, this story came out originally 3 days ago.

   So hold on. WWE has Ric Flair doing stuff for them, but he is NOT under contract?!? And they allegedly DO NOT want to sign him so that the WWE can have complete control over Flair? How on God's green earth does that even begin to make any sense? Shouldn't it be that the WWE is TRYING to sign Flair to a contract, but Flair refuses because that would allow the WWE to have complete control over him?!? In a word: EDIT!
