Ron Simmons on his catchphrase and the MacMahons
Ron Simmons has recently been interviewed by Alex Marvez from Scripps News. During this interview he explains the origin of his catchphrase "Damn!." According to him, it comes from his expression while seeing "younger guys doing something in the ring that was really crazy where they could be injurying themselves."
He also had some interesting words regarding the MacMahon family: "They've been supportive in every way (...) If you have problems, you can ask for help and get it. That's been unheard of in this industry. Although they've been ridiculed in the press with some of the tragedies that have happened, I promise you that the McMahon family would do everything within their power to have prevented them from happening," when refering to his recent stay at rehab.
