TNA has invited Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska (former vice-presidential candidate) to attend its December 7 Final Resolution PPV. TNA has agreed to make a $50,000 donation to the charity of her choice. They would like to make her an honorary member of "The Beautiful People", TNA's elite group of Knockouts. TNA will make an official invitation this week on Impact. As of this time Gov. Palin has not responded to the invitation.

Wow...this actually got my attention. TNA doing something remotely political. So does this make TNA suddenly "conservative"? ;) Just kidding. There's no doubt - Sarah Palin is a knockout for a mom of 5. I wonder if she'll have a real story line that makes her appearance worth it, or if she'll just be there to hype the show only. If it's the former, then perhaps TNA has a wrestler make fun of her political views, and she instead hires another TNA superstar to stand up to him. I think such a move would work quite well. Personally, Palin for Pres in 2012!

Glad to see TNA has $50,000 to be throwing around when they cut people's jobs so quickly.

they aren't throwing $50,000 around. think about it. how can she say no to TNA and deprive a charity of $50,000? it would make her look bad if she said no. plus if she does appear, every news channel and newspaper imaginable will run a story about it and talk shows will be talking about it forever. it's free advertising for TNA. this could be huge for TNA!

$50,000 amazingly well spent for the amount of publicity this will generate

Really, this reminds me of when Pacman Jones was on TNA. He did nothing in the long run for ratings, and it was really hyped on ESPN.
Palin going to TNA? It'd only give ratings for a week. Then it would drop off again.
Personally, I didn't even like Palin. How about they use this money on the X-Division so it doesn't suck so bad?

the difference is that pacman jones is a scumbag that nobody cares about. sarah plain was a vice presidential candidate that was the center of attention for the past 4 months.

Yes, I can already see Sarah Palin sitting on the front row "Let's go face guy, clap clap clap clap, let's go heel guy, clap clap clap clap, let's go face guy,....". Besides, Sarah Palin doesn't have time for those TNA shenanigans, she has to stay at home in her house, so she can see when the Russians are invading.

They spent over $200,000 on Palin's wardrobe for the Republican National Convention. I can assure you, she will not accept this offer. It's a waste of $50,0000 by TNA.
