Shawn Michaels Retiring

Shawn Michaels is telling his friends that he will be retiring at (or after) WrestleMania.


HBK has been quoted of saying that he wants to spend more time with his children.


This though is not just a rumor. Many facts back this up such as his contract which is set to expire soon and the fact that he is not advertised for any show to be held after Wrestlemania.


Last year, Shawn said, in a radio interview, that he had given WWE his retirement date which close to this year's WrestleMania. In the same interview, he said that he might continue wrestling even in his fifties, but only a match or two per year.


This match will probably be the least predictable in WrestleMania as The Undertaker has been rumored to quit his career because of an injury in his knee which apparently seems to be serious enough to require a minor transplant.

    whats a MINOR transplant sorry but as sombody who has had a knee replacment trust me a transplant is never minor will be intresting come wrestle mania

    love them both,they're example of what good wrestlers should be,hope the younger guys learn something from them but we're here for a good time not a long time,nothing is 4ever,win or loose they're GREAT guys.that's just my opinion.bigquest to all nice and decent people.

    I got a shock, when i saw the headline " shawn michales retiring" but undertaker maybe has the plan to do the same, so for me is the wrestlemania results still a mystery for me.

    Agreed with #9. It's like the Spike Dudley return post. If something is huge and groundbreaking the subject should say Spoiler in it. I should have to click on the link to know that Shawn Michaels isn't booked for anything after WM and is retiring.

    A spoiler would indicate that MVD was reporting that either Shawn or Taker was going to win, and he did neither. Simply put, 90% of the people here don't know what spoilers mean. Good job MVD, even though we don't always agree on things, I enjoy reading your articles.

    shawn needs to live cause vince ain't using him right he should be heel again with his sunglasses and stuff like that i read hbk's book he said he loves to wrestle but doesnt know when to retire but maybe this is his year hbk 1988-2010

    Mind you this isn't a spoiler and I don't think it gives away any idea who will win the match. My guess is undertaker keeps his reign and they use that as an advertisement deal for future merchandise.

    comment 4 , no offence, but thats the stupidest thing i have heard all week. It is NOT going to end in a draw 'cause that would be plain stupid and they wont rest for a couple of YEARS, and all of a sudden return and have another match at wrestlemania 30.

    Im going to love this match, its too hard for me too choose, but id rather see the streak stay alive.

    Shawn will win. Undertaker will win. Shawn will retire because winning will require him to virtually kill himself. Undertaker will win because Shawn's win will somehow be tossed out. Vince McMahon will take off his clothes and rub his butt, Rakishi like, in the face of the ref. Bobo Brazil will come back to life and head butt Vince.     i'm a big shawn michaels fan sense i was little..i think the undertaker will win cause shawn has nothing left tp prove..he knows he will never be champion again,,so why not retire..
