Smackdown Results *Spoiler*

Here are the results for Friday's Smackdown, taped last night:

Dolph Ziggler b. John Morrison (Via Countout)
 -Morrison was counted out after Ziggler put him through the annouce table.

Beth Phoenix b. Local Jobber

Matt Hardy b. Eric Escobar

A promo is cut in the ring with Rey Mysterio and Batista. Rey comes out first and calls Batista down to the ring, so they can talk things through like men. Batista comes down and questions why Rey would call him out. Batista gives Mysterio one chance to get out of the ring. Mysterio stays and says he wants to let bygones be bygones. Batista again tells Rey that he should exit the ring. Rey stays and tells Batista to think about everything they've been through and to think about Eddie Guerrero. Batista says "Eddie is dead" and tells Rey that he is going to think about himself, not Rey. Batista walks off.

In the back, Matt Hardy comes across Batista. Matt tells him to think about what he is doing, and that he has been through similar things with his brother. Batista just walks off, saying nothing. Seconds later, he returns and attacks Hardy.

Finlay vs. Drew McIntyre
 -McIntyre gets on the mic and says that he never wanted to be on Team Smackdown anyway. Finlay comes to the ring, but is beat down before he can even get in the ring. The match never even begins.

A Divas Halloween Costume Contest is held, hosted by Cryme Tyme. Mickie James, dressed as Elektra, wins the contest over Michelle McCool (dressed as a devil), Layla (as Michael Jackson) and Natalya (as a Matador). The 3 heels attack Mickie, and she is able to escape Layla and Natalya, but takes a big kick from Michelle.

CM Punk b. Scott Armstrong
 -Punk picks up the pin over the ref with a Go To Sleep.

Chris Jericho b. Kane
 -Jericho picks up the pin after a Codebreaker. 
 -Chris gets a spot in the World Title match at Survivor Series.
