It actually sounds like too much. You'd have to have no life trying to fill all those spots

Yes but they did a pretty good job with graphics, given the consoles they had to work with. I do agree 100% with matches being far to easy. I could usually do a match with all quick grapples, store my finisher, hit it, win. It was incredibly dull. And Paladin...Wrestling fans have been on their knees begging for decent storylines since the first SvR came out. Chances are, we wont get them. Don't waste your breath.

So they're bringing back a classes/styles system, like the showman/dirty/powerhouse/etc. from 08?

so john cena will only know 6 moves in the game just like he does in real life.

Do yourself a favor. Save your 50 bucks, and instead of buying this piece of garbage, buy Fire Pro Wrestling Returns for the PS2 instead for less than 20. It's a thousand times better, and less than half the price... and you can use that 30 bucks to buy a couple CHIKARA videos too!

OR just save the $50, get another $10 and buy CHIKARA King Of Trios 2009 boxset instead

The SvR Series wont ssell like they used to, with UFC and Fight Night having come out, I dont think anyone'll want to play a game that almost seems fake.

When was the last good game in this series? 07? 06? They refuse to do anything to improve the game from year to year. It's almost like Madden. Same game every year with 1 or 2 additions/subtractions.

they better have a completely new feature in this, and it better be a good one.

Are you kidding Raven? Here Comes the Pain and Know Your Role were epic wins for the Smackdown series. But those were like what 7-8 years ago?

Well they're only gonna put a restricted amount of time into doing the storylines as we learned from the years where there was 1 storyline for every guy. And yes, the RTWM storylines were garbage last year. I mean, The Boogeyman main eventing WM against The Undertaker? Yeah....even though I wouldnt put it past today's WWE to do that with how desperate they are. Cena's story was the only good one, as much as it pains me to say that anything involving Cena is good.

It being on all these platforms just means it's not getting any graphics updates, which is probably a great idea. Hell, if folks are still playing 07 over what they've been bringing out apparently we just don't care lol. *cartman voice* I want mah storylines, dammit! I wanna sit in a dark room and pretend I'm beating the hell out of the Undertaker! Please, WWE? Pretty please?

Creed, those were average at best.
The AI of Smackdown games is a joke. I rented SvR for the heck of it... I basically won matches by spamming elbows.
On the hardest difficulty.
Didn't take a single hit.
I didn't think it was possible, but this game has even WORSE AI than LOW games.
Create a finisher sucked too. Some of the transitions didn't make any sense, making for animations worse than some No Mercy move hacks.
Not to mention the gameplay itself just gets more nonsensical and awkward with each year.
Like I said, FirePro Returns. It's everything a smackdown game wishes it could be.
Oh, and for guys who like creating wrestlers... how does FIVE HUNDRED CREATE SLOTS sound?

Fire Pro Wrestling Returns is one of my addictions! Since I bought it, I must have close to 50 created wrestlers. The only times I go back to the SvR games is when I feel like customising outfits and making the guys look cool. I'm not very good at that in Fire Pro. Besides, the SvR games have better graphics. It's just that the AI is SO terrible! Fire Pro has so much more going for it. It's a shame SvR can't "aquire" Fire Pro's engine.
