Stone Cold Steve Austin and TNA

On his official Twitter page, Stone Cold Steve Austin responded to some questions about whether he watches TNA or not.

Stone Cold Steve Austin replied:  "yes i do watch TNA. lots of friends there. they have some good talent."

Last week he also stated that he does not think that TNA will ever catch WWE and felt that to be better, they need to be different from WWE. On the other hand, he wished TNA luck and said that competition is always good.

   i agree with austin, to beat wwe they have to be different. but looks like hogan has eliminatated any advantage they had over wwe in the difference department.

   Stone Cold proven what I said about TNA, they need to be their own company. But since Dixie Carter is allowing Hogan to run the show, being different was thrown out the window.

   If Hogan and Bischoff are not in charge, then how the hell do you explain TNA going into the antique section of the wrestler pool all too much lately?? Bringing in RVD and Anderson are obviously very great choices, but trust me, the second Hogan loses his influence on TNA, they will prosper over TNA for one reason. Vince McMahon is letting all this talent go to TNA for the PG Rating. They even want the wrestlers to live a PG life. That's the only logical reason he's as strict as he is. Baseball isn't even that strict. In baseball, you get caught first time, it's 50 games, or roughly 2 months, no rehab needed. Vince makes it required or you're fired. He is setting a good example by doing this, but if one baseball team fails, no big deal, still 29 to go. But if you lose one show in WWE's case, that's half of your whole talent that's most likely going to TNA. WWE can't be as picky as it is with this policy, or Vince's collapse will be from the inside-out, and TNA will be the next huge thing to happen to wrestling, and when it does happen, watch how many people jump on the band wagon, in which people like me that have believed in TNA while it's still an underdog will hate you for jumping on our backs and taking credit for a company to succeed. For the other people who already believe in TNA, keep believing.

   Hogan is pretty well in charge.And it shows. TNAs shows haven't been so good until until Hogan took the reins. I really want to see them get out there and REALLY make things happen, and become legitimate competition for Vince. Because no matter if TNA is good or not, competition will ALWAYS make both products better.

    It would be nice to see TNA develop new storylines and fresh talent instead of recycling old WCW/WWF storylines and rosters.
    Case in point, the current Nash vs Hall and Syxx feud.
    Anyone else remember the same storyline playing out years back with Benoit, Guerrero, and Malenko?
