Santino Marella was right.
WWE films made a killing with John Cena's The Marine and Kane's See No Evil but Steve Austin's The Condemned lost an estimated $16 million at the box office because WWE spent so much time advertising it.
The WWE's film department now has a profit of a little bit over ZERO dollars.
Not everyone can have the success of The Rock, whose newest film, The Game Plan, has earned about $18 million in DVD sales so far.

WWE Films' overall profit so far is around 300,000$. While The Condemned did indeed "suck" at the box office and cost WWE quite a load, 300,000$ is still far from "a little over ZERO".

The Marine wasn't a great movie the storyline a bit to obvious but had some nice twists.

For a company whose profit margin was supposed to be 15 million dollars, 300 thousand certainly does SUCK.

What's going to sound awful is I absolutely LOVED The Condemned, while I hated The Marine and didn't bother seeing See No Evil (namely as I don't watch horror). It's sad to hear that it did so poorly.

The Comdemned Still made a killing in Rentals, which is where I think they made up for what they lost.

I really thought "The Condemned" was a movie that was fairly well done, although the premise had been done before with Jean Claude Van Damme in the lead. The location was great, and the supporting actors were well chosen
However, I think Austins acting left a lot to be desired. I felt that he used a ham and egger by the name of Stallone as a model for his character..Too bad, because if they would have let him do it his way, I think the movie would have done better at the box office.
