The Rock RETURNING To WWE

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson gave an interview to The Toronto Sun newspaper where he talked of the movie he is starring in, Tooth Fairy, and wrestling. 

"The plan was for me to be the host (Monday Night RAW of the 11th January)," says Johnson. "But then I had to go to Mexico (to promote the movie). The idea of me going back to WWE is intriguing and exciting. I grew up in the business." 

"Will I go back? Absolutely. The goal is to go back and do something special. I talked to Vince (McMahon) a couple of months ago and we're trying to come up with something.

"After I wrap (the filming of the action movie), maybe in the summer I can go back."

    Have you all forget just how crappy they made The Rock before he jumped ship? NO! All you remember is the glory days and beleive me, the WWE doesnt give a rats butt about those who were around during then, they only care about the current set of fans, and the system they have set up. The Rock equals a big draw, thats it.

    The didn't make the Rock crappy in his last proper run lol. He main-evented WM19 against Stone Cold then was Goldberg's first feud, then disappeared. The Rock was awesome at this point as he was a full blown heel. Take a look on youtube at any of the interactions the rock had with hurricane from that very same run.
    
    Also, a year later he came back as a face to team with foley against evolution and delivered some of the strongest promos at the time.

    The truth is John Cena is this generation's version of the Rock... He is this decade's "peoples champ". But if anyone thinks the WWE would have The Rock comeback 2 lose IS STUPID. Thats worst than thinking Batista was gonna end da Undertakers perfect Wrestlemania record... LMAO. The WWE wont let that happen. Someone would interfere with the match, so neither would technically win or lose.
