Thor director doesn't want HHH

There had been rumours for Triple H to star as Thor in an upcoming movie about the Marvel Comic's hero. Triple H's amazing physique made him one of the favourites for the role of Thor. However, it now seems that Marvel officials would be happy with his services but director Matthew Vaughn is greatly against HHH starring in his movie. Vaughn is the possible director (not confirmed yet, but it's almost sure) for the movie, and it seems that he has made clear during negotiations with the studio that he really isn't high about casting HHH in this movie.

Two candidates who currently have a much bigger shot at landing the movie role are Brad Pitt and Kevin McKidd, who played the soldier/politician Lucius Vorenus in HBO's Rome.

   This is outdated news. Matthew Vaughn's contract to direct the movie has lapsed. It's up in the air if he's still going to direct.
