Jeremy Borash, TNA's Ring announcer, decided he would take a shot at the WWE, after seeing "The Death of WCW" DVD advert. He posted this on his twitter page;
"The Death of WCW" DVD commercial that aired during Monday's Raw. "The Death of WCW commercial followed by a Hornswoggle vs. Chavo (Guerrero) boxing match? Pot? Kettle?"

WWE claims WCW was nothing but pure crap, but WWE uses alot of old WCW ideas and strategies....live RAW, RAW Roulette, even used the Great American Bash for the longest time, till they felt it wouldn't pull in foreign buyrates. Borash is correct in his observation, especially since everyone blames booking and storylines as a major fall to WCW.

I just wish TNA was able to buy the rights of ECW - if you actually watch their stuff, a lot of it is surprisingly close to ECW - especially this years Locdown PPV, which is still the best one I've seen all year, as every match was full of awesome, and the song (Bullet with Butterfly Wings) also was fantastic.

really most of the crap involving Hornswoggle is a joke. First, he was the last cruiserweight champion, taking away all of its credibility. Then their is the time he painted a black door on a wall, and 'ran through' it. Then Ken Kennedy tried and ran into the wall. I agree with Borash. Hard to be credible when your crap is almost worst that the company you are bashing. But then again, does WWE even have to be credible?

Pot? Kettle? The DVD is called "The Rise and Fall of WCW", not "The Terrible Programming of WCW"

comment 9, if you even read the book you would know how bad they bashed WCW. I am not a WCW fan by any means but I am sure the DVD will be worse than the book

I was a WCW fan. I was also a WWF fan. I am currently a fan of both TNA & WWE.
Having said that, WCW really screwed the pooch near the end. And the WWE is approaching the kennel.

and for peter on (comment #12).
if you meant to implied that wrestling is fake by you comment, I'd like to see you go in the ring.
It isn't fake, it's scripted. You tell Gail Kim and Mickie James it's fake. You tell Stone Cold and Owen Hart it's fake. YOU TELL KURT ANGLE AND BROCK LESNAR IT'S FAKE!
I dare you.

It's still real to Shocking_Stuff, damn it!
It's fake in the sense that nobody is really trying to hurt anyone. Accidents happen. Brandon Lee died on the set of the Crow, are you going to tell me that the Crow is real too?
