Lance Hoyt, Jimmy Rave and Petey Williams are apparently only the start of TNA's cuts. Beer Money will be hosting an open challenge on Impact every week starting this Saturday night, and these matches will be a storyline way of cutting more of the low card wrestlers.
Already, there is a lot of backstage tension about Williams being dropped from the roster. The feeling was that he was a hard worker, stayed out of trouble and was a company man.

tna really are not giving their younger guys opportunities to move up to the main event. for goodness sakes the main event feud now is sting vs angle? the mem fall apart due to internal bickering instead of the frontline beating them? what a load

This is a mistake on the part of TNA. I will say this,m the last thing you want is low morale in the lockeroom.

Petey was a great wrestler. He could totally have dominated most of the CRuiserweight of the modern era where the division is dead. Petey is has good has Billy Kidman ever was. maybe not fats enough to catch Mysterio enough to beat him in his prime but Quicksilver Hornswoggle or even Jamie Noble would be destroyed by Piley Williams. I can't undertsand the cut. Petey is a guy who was ther from day one he deserves to stay witht he company and be a legend in wrestling. were a door closes a widow opens. New Japan or that cursed Mexican federation or ROH could pick up Petey Williams and really us ehimw ell. El Generico verus Petey William that would be the match fo the eyar for ROH in 2009 if Petey Williams goes that direction.

Here's the undisputed truth:
As long as Vince Russo is in the back writing/booking, TNA will continue to fail.
WWF let him go before he could do more damage (And suddenly got better), WCW went out of business because of his writing and treatment of the guys in back (Like or hate Hogan, he didn't deserve the way he was made to leave) - and now TNA is inexorably going down the drain with the Millionaires Club vs New blood storyline.. Whoops, sorry - I mean MEM vs Frontline.
Jeff Jarrett needs to consider any debt he owes (For being Russo's go to Champion) Russo paid in full and get rid of him ASAP..
Or TNA will get bought by someone.
