So, how long before TNA gives up and goes back to Thursdays? I give it 6-9 months.

Ah, we have another person who thinks that the show they watch is so much better then any other wrestling show. Plus, he calls people who watch WWE kids, even if they are adults, there kids.

I have to say though, that I was amused seeing Flair dripping (literally) blood in the match versus Hogan ... Missed that in WWE

i think people already gave up on tna after the past 2 shows leading to monday, then after all the hype about it being a great show, brought some of the doubters back to watch it over. Wouldnt be surprised if tna pulls a greater rating than last monday with their taped show for this monday against wwe's austin show

But how many of those 1.3 million who watched the replay were actually "new" viewers to that week's show and not just people who wanted to watch 1st. run on Monday AND the replay?
As someone who watches TNA over WWE, I thought that Monday's show was too rushed and they tried to do to much.

having a replay mean they will never get the ratings on the moday show. why watch tna on monday if you can catch the replay

I think TNA already regrets moving monday haha
TNA is losing the war, they can't lower the RAW's rating, they can't get more rating and even NXT have the same rating than them, how are they going to pay the superstars?

Really don't know why they bothered moving to Monday nights a couple of weeks before Wrestlemania... They might as well have waited until around Backlash (or whatever that is now)

Look, NXT/WWECW scored the same rating as TNA did. That's the only statistic you need to know. WWE's "C" show, on a Tuesday night at 10 PM which lasts an hour scored the same as TNA's only show.
And in response to the 1.95 - your notion of a "combined ranking" is illogical at best. The reality is if WWE played all their shows twice, their ranking would be higher as well. TNA is in no way able to compete with WWE ratings right now, and if this trend continues, that will not change in the foreseeable future.

I've tried to give TNA a chance, I really have. I've watched several shows, I set it on my DVR, everything. And it just isn't holding up. Their people can't cut a promo to save their lives for one thing. Their speechses and interviews are dry and boring. Even Ken Anderson (formerly Ken Kennedy, one of the best promo guys WWE had) can't talk even half as good as he used to.
Plus, they constantly cut away from actual matches to have interviews, or backstage crap, whereas in WWE that would be handled in the entrances, before or after a match, or just mentioned by the commentators. And lastly, it seems like 2/3 of the matches end in non contest.
Next is the fact that it feels to new viewers like everyone and their brother is in a stable, it gives the impression that no one can hold their own when they're in a singles match.
And then there's the fans. For the company that everyone has been saying for years will "Take down the WWE" I'm not impressed with the people they pack into their arena. If Sunday Night Heat had been taped on its own, instead of being taped before RAW and having tis crowd, even IT could've pulled a bigger audience.
And lastly, me as a WWE guy can't help but think that these are all the guys who couldn't make it in WWE, plus a handful of good people who quit.
All these things together add up to a show that isn't very impressive. There are a few good things, but not enough to make up for the bad ones.

They couldnt half of TNA roster are indie stars and like Chris Harris WWE would ruin them. Most of the roster i beleive hate vince and WWE and have stated they would never work for him. Besides any hater is just mad cus they feel betrayed by likes of Angle and Hardy,to top that off they see the other half as unknowns like styles and daniels and wolfe etc.

As far as the crowd goes they really have little control over that as you have to remember that they are taping at a Universal Studio in Orlando where tickets are free so you can't expect expect much from the fans.

Again, you look ridiculous is you comment that TNA is better than WWE and provide no warrants for your arguments. Right now, without focusing on Stars or Programming, WWE is the company to beat for one simple reasons: statistics don't lie. See Comment #12 for my analysis there.

I don't understand how you guys think this report means that TNA is "kicking WWE's ass." This report just proves how far behind TNA is and how hopeless it is for them to keep trying to pretend to be the WWE's equal (or better).

Comment #25, you are right. I also can read it as,
(TNA + TNA replay) * 2 == RAW //ratings

lmao, you're going to count the ratings together? That's not the way ratings work, you don't get to count the ratings of a show and it's replay and use that as evidence of the show's success.

I say that having a replay on Thursdays is a good idea and should be long term, just for the people who cant tune into one thing then another. I missed TNA and got pissed about it, but didn't watch WWE. SO thank god for the replay

TNA Scores High Rating? Sorry if I have to laugh out loud at that. Everyone here knows TNA's 2nd go on Monday was a flop as well. If they're dedicated to fighting the Monday Night War, why bother having a repeat on Thursday night? Guess TNA wanted to keep their old time slot as well incase they decide the move to Monday was a bad idea.

Again, combining the ratings is about as intelligent as crashing a brand new Rolls Royce into the lake. These ratings are flawed and are not accurate or worth considering. TNA scored a poor rating in relation to WWE Raw, hence losing this Monday Night War, if you could even call it that. Rowdy, a TNA showing on Thursday night is a great idea, as long as there is no show Monday. They should gain some knowledge and stay to their Thursday night time spot. Their show could compete with Superstars on a good night.

It doesn't matter if they replay it, or how many times they replay it. They're not going to get better ratings.
Of course, if ratings = show quality, neither WWE or TNA would break 0.5

Who cares if tna kicks wwe ass or not,you people act like TNA is at the bottem of the barrel, like there isnt anything below it. To you TNA may not be the 2nd top promotion under the WWE right now but it is. ROH has been on mondays and its tagline is "the ONLY wrestling on mondays" and they are the top indie promotion. So really they should be the 3rd stop under TNA.
