After TNA's huge success on Monday night, where they pulled in a 1.5 rating, there has been a lot of rumblings about Impact! possibly making a permanent move to Monday nights. Apparently TNA would get the 8-10 timeslot, only putting them up against Raw for one hour, as they sit in the 9-11 timeslot.
TNA Star Kevin Nash, tweeted about the possibility of a permanent switch today:
"I think going head 2 head every monday is in the works. Spike was happy with the ratings. special 4 me to be back with the band, great night!!!"

The Monday Inpact may not have been totally spectacular, but, the RAW that was presented to countered it was an eyesore! I found the RAW boreing, moreso then other episodes. However, I still think that TNA should remain on Thursday's. If only not to bring more attention from the WWE (some of the people that appeared on the, hopefully, special Inpact WILL get Vince's attention).

Well, TNA hopes that they`ll get more attention by WWE fans if they go head to head.

WWE won the ratings war probably. TNA was pretty disappointing that night anyway, WAAAAAY too much Hogan for my taste.

Going to monday nights against RAW would be the death sentence for TNA. Anyone remember WCW. They were winning for a bit but ultimately bankrupted themselves the same as TNA is doing now. They are paying the old WWE guys way too much and it will catch up with them sooner than later

You WWE sheeple are either way too young to recall what WCW really was or you just are blinded by the crap that Vince feeds you every week.

TNA ARE BECOMING A SUCESS THANKS TO ALL THE FORMER WWE SUPERSTARS EG. JEFF HARDY,KURT ANGLE,HULK HOGAN,RIC FLAIR,RVD ETC. BUT TNA MUST BE JUST AS STUPID AS I THOUGHT THEY WERE TRYING TO COMPETE AGAINST WWE II MEAN SERIIOUSLY HOW COOL DOES TNA THINK THEY ARE? I HATE TNA AND HOPE THAT THEY BECOME BANKRUPT AND NEVER SHOW THEIR FACES AGAIN. AND NOW PPV'S TNA DOESNT DESERVE TO HAVE THEIR PPV'S ON SKY BOX OFFIICE BECAUSE THEY SUCK AND CANT COMPARE TO THE REVOLUTIONARY WWE

#17 DON'T TRY AND DEFEND TNA IDIOTS BESIDES IF YOU COUNTED HOW MANY WWE SUPERSTARS ARE ON TNA YOU WOULD HAVE AT LEAST COUNTED HALF OF THE ROSTER... ALL IM TRYING TO SAY IS THAT TNA ARE WWE SUPERSTAR STEALERS AND THEY REALLY NEED TO GET THEIR OWN TALENT BECAUSE WWE DID WHY CAN'T TNA????

comment # 14, i remember both WCW AND WWF (now WWE) when that war was going on. i remember watching WCW the first hour but then switch to WWF when it came on. all that happen was that WCW falled into a trap they saw beforehand but were to stupid that they falled for it. TNA WILL BECOME WCW IF THEY KEEP DOING THIS

#15....you are one of the WWE sheeple, everyone always staes how WCW went bankrupt, which is not correct....it was pulled from TBS/TNT due to the AOL/Time Warner merger in which they didn't want wrestling on their channels....but it was the only thing within the Turner system that was actually making money. So you seem to not recall things correctly or are merely slighted to rag on WCW/TNA cause they were/are not WWF/E.

To Chronic Jay:
I can see X-plosion going head-to-head with Smackdown. The X-Division is probably the most UNDERRATED division today. Smackdown has some bad-ass wrestlers like Morrison but lately it seems the sanme.

TNA is way better then WWE right now and that is a great thing for wrestling fans, WWE will be forced to up the antie and they will, then TNA will need to respond and they will, perhaps the hulkster just might be good for TNA after all

I don't see the 1.5 rating as a massive success at all. RAW maintained the same rating as the week before. That means TNA got some ppl to tune in who don't usually tune in to Wrestlign any more. But this was a massively hyped show with multiple suprise appearances etc. They can't maintain that on a weekly basis and I bet after a few weeks it'll drop back down. Now if RAW had dropped .4 while TNA went up .4, I would of called that a big success.

Is anyone else tired of being called sheeple just because we don't share someone else's view? Someone else who won't even attach his name so we know who to talk to I might add.

Posted by darkmaster on Thursday, January 07, 2010" WWE needs to join everyone up for one show "ECW" Extremely crappy wrestling. Lot of dead weight in the WWE right now. Prima Donna's with no skills.

Funny stuff in here....btw, WWF has stolen more talent in its history from: WCW, NWA, AWA, ECW, ROH, etc....but like the other guy said, you seem to only see it as TNA stealing from WWE, when WWE has far less "original" talent on its rosters than you will admit. (To name a few who aren't WWE originals: Punk (ROH), Jericho (Japan/WCW/ECW), Taker (NWA), Show (WCW) and several others that are currently employed by them....90% of their Legends aren't originals.)

Absolutely. Vince McMahon just pooled talent from other's ponds - luring them away with larger paycheck bait or catering to their other vices. He never really scouted for his own talent - he just took from other regional promoters that at the time they existed, couldn't afford to advertise and spread their products like Vince could. It was all business and money to him - still is. He takes his talent and audience for idiots. And now you have another chance at WCW - as fans, we can't allow it to fail. If we want the best matches the way we remember them in the 90's, etc - we need to support TNA. They're only trying to be the best, and for who? Just to beat Vince? Partially, but I think it's for US. Hogan and the others were FANs like us all before they were superstars.

Well what a amazing TNA show, so many surprises. Not sure if they should of done that all in one show but, good for them. TNA will probably never be as big as WWE but at least they are willing to have a go. I don't see any other takers. Besides I don't care what anyone says WWE was at times early last year getting very boring. I think they need to be aware that even if they never lose their ratings, that there is another wrestling network for very good wrestlers and bad to go and fans of wrestling to tune into. I hope TNA and WWE focus on the people who make it possible for them to have LIVE SHOWS. WCW was more real and beliveable in terms of good wrestling match after match but people need to RECOGNISE TNA Stands for TOTAL NONSTOP (WRESTLING) ACTION NOT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING> so give them a bloody chance eh.
