Agents backstage in TNA have been given more control over planning the matches and finishes. In the past the agents acted mainly as the messenger from the creative people to the talent. This change is being made because people feel that the TNA house show matches that are put together by the agents are better than the TV matches that are put together by creative. The creative team will still decide who the winners and losers are with Jeff Jarrett having the final say. The talent is in favor of the change and feel it was needed. The wrestlers have found the agents to be easier to talk to and more open minded about changing things. Before the change the agents had no choice but to stick to the script.

This sounds good. A more fluid and interwoven way of doing things.

The reason the house matches are better is because they are not enforcing storylines which lead to DQ's, No contests, silly promos and so forth. They wrestle!
If you ask me, it should be the wrestlers who do the creative stuff for their matches because they are the ones that take it to the next level. That is why when you see christain cage wrestle, you know it will be good, same with AJ, Eric Young, Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle. These guys know what makes a match good and innovative. When you get creative interference, you get stuff like the black tie and chain match, and the matches IMO lose some soul.

Hopefully, this will put more of the traditional aspect of the wrestlers performing in the ring back into the sport; more improvisation.
