Top WWE Heel Possibly Turning Face
Word backstage is that there were long terms plans for WWE creative to give a full fledged face turn to Edge by the Royal Rumble and have him enter WrestleMania as a Full face.
Now that Edge is injured it is unsure if plans will continue after his return which is planned for around March next year, earlier if he is lucky.

What was I freakin predicting. I knew they wanted him as Face. But him as Face when he returns could still be epic. A comeback+a Face turn= WWE Era

bringing edge back as a face, could work but I currently like him better as a heel. So if them were planing the face turn before the injury, could the plan have been/be Y2J vs. Edge at WM 26.

Shane's right. I always felt like Edge turning face without a return would not seem to make sense. Plus, a return can hype his Face turn and the fans can really be behind him. I remember watching Edge vs. Orton for the Intercontinental Title and the crowd wasn't even behind Edge for most of the match, even though he was face. They seemed to be behind the heel Orton. So now tht Edge has accomplished a lot these past few years since turning heel, maybe he can get cheered on for something he achieved. And trust me, when the day comes, I'll be more than happy to call Edge the face of the WWE instead of John Cena. (But Cena's ok, for now)
