Formally unveiled during the two-hour Friday Night Smackdown show, WWE's new storyline for The Undertaker has fans buzzing.
As of 11:30PM, the Undertaker storyline was the subject of the top four searches on Google. The queries, in order, were "Undertake died," "what happened to the undertaker," "is the undertaker dead," "wwe undertaker." 'Mark Calaway' was the twelfth most popular search.
The storyline, which kicked off this week, claims that Kane found his "brother" in a vegetative state last weekend and is now seeking to identify and have vengeance against the person responsible.
The storyline was designed in response to Undertaker suffering facial injuries, including a broken orbital bone, during his match with Rey Mysterio last week.
Because the injury was serious enough to keep Taker out of the Fatal 4 Way main-event, WWE needed to offer a storyline explanation for his absence.
This again goes to prove that some people are idiots and dont know a storyline when it walks down the road and slaps them

Well at least WWE is trying to back oldschool back a little. And they should put Wade Barrett in that fatal for way cause he got title match at PvP, Plus I like that NXT thingie, they are getting fresh blood.

Boxers usually quit at the age of 30-40, with the exception of Ray Robinson (or was it Ray Leonard?)... Because the older you get, the more prone you are to injuries and lower your stamina... Why can't the WWE superstars learn just like the boxers, that they can't carry on forever. the older men, including Undertaker need to realise that.

I was out checking the mail earlier when a story line came walking down the road. I tried to seek shelter behind a tree but it was too late, the storyline had already seen me. It hastened its step and came right for me, delivering a vicious slap to my face. *sigh* The neighborhood was so much better before all of those storylines moved in.

First, I'm going to be seriously disappointed if the storyline doesn't turn out to be that someone stole the urn. That, or Paul Bearer returns somehow.
Second, its dumb that they replaced `Taker with Mysterio, considering he's the one that Undertaker got injured wrestling. (At least they didn't give the spot to Drew McIntyre!)
