In a recent interview that Vince McMahon did at the below source he spoke about many things. From the PG rating to the boom of UFC and business numbers. Below are the two comments from the PG Rating and UFC Comments.
On Being PG: "We just followed our audience and tried to listen to them. It's a more sophisticated product. It's just the right move business-wise, but more specifically the right move in terms of reaching our audience."
On Competing with the UFC: "You really can't compete with that. Why not deliver a more sophisticated product and not go to those extremes? If the audience wants those extremes, they know where to go and how to get it."

Vince missed the mark, on this one. He hasn't listened to his REAL audience in YEARS. That's why the ratings keep slipping!

"We went to those extremes in WWE once...but of all our biggest stars they either got too big for their boots and walked out, or tried to go to Hollywood...I got one of them to stay but only by letting him hump my daughter."

ratings have been dropping? It's funny to note that many people only report WWE ratings when they get lower, but not when they go up. Stop being negative, Vince makes a good point here. By listening to the audience he's listening to the majority which is the kids.
He's basically saying if you dont like it switch to UFC. It's a good point btw, so why all the Vince hate?
Don't watch WWE, he doesn't really care if you dont watch as long as kids like it.
