Vince's thoughts about TNA and UFC
On a recent interview, Vince McMAhon referred to TNA and MMA promotion UFC.
When asked if he's concerned about TNA, McMahon said he's concerned about the things they show on screen as they are TV-14, while WWE is PG. He went on to state that some of these things are "reprehensible."
About UFC, Vince said that his company is not competitors with UFC since they are a sports promotion, meanwhile WWE is entertaining.
McMahon had also words for the use of foreign objects in WWE, stating that WWE wrestlers don't use weapons that can be found at home by the younger fans (that's why they use sledge hammers and folding metal chairs instead of baseball bats, for example)

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Vince was certainly on PR mode for this interview. Just because WWE wants to go 'pg' doesn't mean TNA has to follow suit, besides TNA hasn't even come close to the crap WWE pulled. Let's remember that Vince wanted to be the 'father' of Steph's babies but she rightfully nixed that idea. Not in competition with UFC? Okay. They're in competition because UFC, WWE, TNA all go after the same type of people and with the economy the way it is, some people have to chose which ppv they're going to buy. And the whole baseball to sledgehammer thing is a load of crap. Sad thing is Vince actually believes this sh!t. No wonder 'outsiders' still see wrestling as a side show act.
