Vince McMahon wants his announcers to call less moves during their announcements, and focus more on storylines. A second instruction they get is to "stop screaming", something which the TNA Announcers excell in. It is supposed to give a more "real" situation and a less "staged". Joey Styles in particular (and to a lesser extent JR) has been told to stop raising his voice and stop calling moves so often. This would mean that Styles entire announcing style has to take a 180° direction.

As a comment on my own article, I must say that my Raw will never be the same without JR yelling until his voice goes out. :(

Call less moves? They are already just calling the finishers.

Worst Idea EVER!
They already call few moves as it is. I have a friend who is blind that enjoys wrestling, this will just ruin it for him. Sometimes Vince is down right stupid.

I concur. This is definately a bad decision, and Vince is indeed sometimes plain down right stupid.
I sometimes think WWE wants to be a storyline program with some wrestling thrown in for novelty value. Maybe someday they'll get rid of the wrestling element altogether. Who knows with this kind of attitude.
