"WWE - Boring and Predictable" - Eric Bischoff

Back in September, PW Torch got Eric Bischoff's comments on the possibility of him joining TNA Wrestling.

Bischoff said that he did not think that he would go to TNA  "A, because I don't watch [TNA]. B, because I just don't think about it. I don't watch WWE, either. It's not because I don't like it. Well, it's kind of because I don't like it. It's just that it's so boring I can almost tell you what's going to happen 30 seconds before it happens,"

And continued: "I'm not just talking about the matches, I'm talking about the whole storyline arc of the show. But, I don't want to say this the wrong way. It's not a "been there, done that" syndrome, although that's kind of part of it. It's that unless it's really creatively challenging and stimulating, I just don't think about it. Since I'm not in it and I don't really watch it, it's just not something that I think about. I've probably thought more about wrestling in the last two interviews I've done with you than I have in the last two years."

So I guess the news is that back in September he predicted that he wouldn't think while booking TNA. Because the storyline of TNA is not creatively challenging and stimulating, since he probably is using the unused WCW stories

UH DUH!!!!!!!!!!!! are you kidding... Wrestling in the past 20 years has become so predictable, and if it takes Bishoff 30 seconds before it happens to know what is going to happen he either A. Has NO Fn CLUE or B. Is just stupid, because I tell all my friends what is going to happen A YEAR AHEAD OF TIME because it is THAT PREDICTABLE!!!! every once in a while something throws me for a loop.. and I question it.. like last year at Wrestlemania, I didn't know if they were going to let Michaels beat Undertaker and end the streak... if they do that it is going to PISS ME OFF along with a lot of other people I am sure, so I said they wouldn't but questioned it... so.. anyways back to my point.. I hate Bischoff... I hate Russo.. they are two idiots that have no idea how to run wrestling... why is it that we see the same people wrestling the same people day, after day, after day.... for A YEAR!!! I am so sick of seeing Sheamus wrestling Cena in a tag match, a singles match, a handicap match, a four way, a three way, a soap on a rope match... COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUILD THE STORY LINE!!! MAKE THE ACTUAL EVENT SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO!!!! Like .. for instance, when Hogan and Savage were partners and they split up because of Elizabeth.. did you see Hogan and Savage wrestle week after week after week after week... until FINALLT AT SOME BIG EVENT IT WAS THE SHOWDOWN!!! NO YOU DIDN'T!!!! because it was a huge build up with a few run-ins, some backstage stuff, some "saving", some... promos... but they didn't wrestle each other week after week after week! I AM SO SICK OF IT I BARELY WATCH IT ANYMORE!

and just for the record, I wasn't using Bischoff and Russo as examples in WWE because ... well.. for obvious reasons, I was just stating that wrestling has been like that for years and they are two of the culprits of why

I remeber those days as well. When the Big event really was big. Big names fought each other ... EVERY MATCH!!! nowadays they are just longer version of the weekly show where the big name stars wrestle each other everyweek or every other week.

eric bischoff you are thinking what every1 else has known for ages, the royal rumble 2010 is predictable, batista interferes in reys matchy, sheamus retains title when ted dibiase fails to help orton, orton then retaliates and dumps ted out the royal rumble, christian retains title against ezekial obviously, and the rumble itself isnt to hard to predict that jericho will either win or edge returns at 30 cause he got the all clear to complete last week, triple h has been listed most likely winner but sheamus vs triple h at wm26 sounds boring u heard it here first

WWE may be predictable, but at least it dosnt sign talent that should have retired from the industry 10 years ago.

I say get Paul Heyman and a really good behind the scenes business manager and let's really have something great to talk about. For any problem with ECW before Vince got his grubby mits on it, Paul E. could take two unknowns and make a monumental 2 year storyline out of it, one that would keep people coming back to find out what will happens next.

I'm not all down on TNA like alot of people I see posting on here. Sure they've got a bit of the old WCW thing happening, but they also have a bunch of really young and talented wrestlers (including AJ Styles) that have a chance at longevity. Also the Knockouts division is actual wrestling in TNA quite unlike the fitness model showcase that is the WWE Divas. Mickie James, Melina, Beth Phoenix, and Gail Kim are the only real female wrestlers in WWE, though I have to give it up to Kelly Kelly for effort alone.

Bottom line is, I don't like Hogan or Bischoff, but they can be used to bring in more than the casual wrestling fan if the writing is good. The "structured chaos" of TNA shows of late is much more exciting than WWE. I say give Raven and Daffney more air time.

TNA=WCW...its that simple. TNA should stop signing hasbeens and look at some young talent coz im sure there is plenty out there. Recycling old wrestlers is getting boring and stale, just like the last days of WCW..

TNA sucks right now. I was really hoping this "new" change would be good but come on. It's worse than before. As Bubba asked... THE NASTY BOYS?!!! ARE YOU KIDDING??? HALL? XPAC? What a joke! And now they're turning Styles heel again. It didn't work before so why try again. I was really rooting for TNA but wrestling just sucks in general.

Geez can some people whine so much WWE is somewhat predictable so is TNA its entertainment that means a winner is picked before the match that simple. TNA is never going to outshine WWE especially when picking up old farts or released superstars from WWE that simple. I think Wrestling is still entertaining and you people who gripe should just stop watching in general if you do not like it and think it sucks. I still enjoy it and it is still entertaining in my eyes and yes I do prefer WWE 100 times over TNA. The only thing I do see wwe needs back is just a little more attitude.

Bischoff is only telling half truths once more. It's what he's perfect at, and it gets by many people. WWE is predictable, lame, and all of that stuff. However, WWE is more pleasing to the eye. I look at the TNA arena setup and I'm like "What the hell are they thinking? The tunnel entrance? Didn't I see those same exact tunnels on half of WWE's PPV's like 13 years ago?" WWE may be predictable as all hell, but TNA gets my SOS alert (SOS standing for Same Old S#!t) and not just with the arena. You have the Nasty Boys, Ric Flair, Hogan, and The Outsiders that are all above the age of 150. So much for TNA being something "new."
