WWE DVD Sales Falling Quickly

According to the source, WWE DVD sales are dropping drastically and at a fast rate. The numbers for September have not been brought out yet, but the August numbers were 152,000 shipped units, for a profit of $16.7 million. The previous month's numbers were 309,000 units for $43.3 million. It appears as if interest in WWE DVDs is dropping quickly, and once September's numbers come out, we'll be able to see more clearly.

i agree, we need to know september's figures first. and even then, a downward tendency consisting on only 3 months is not giving a definite picture

This is bollocks. You have one month versus one month in data here. No long term, nothing to compare to. Two makes a line, not a pattern.

I'm not suprised they're dropping now it might continue. THeir product has alianated older fans who enjoy the more MA stuff. This way the fans that make money dont buy the stuff unless for thier kids as a present. Even then it will only be the babyface dvd's. I really wish they would have a ppv or show catered more for the older audiences. I doubt I'm the only one with this view.

All depends on which titles were released in those months.

Maybe it's because they haven't released a DVD in a god damn month, you think?

It would help if you qualified this data with what was released in those months AND provide a look at quarterly figures.
