WWE Fans Unhappy During Show
Since WWE is a PG rated show, blood is not allowed to appear at any match unless by accident.
Fans during the latest Superstars episode were unhappy about a delay in the latest episode of Superstars. This was due to blood on Chavo's head as the latter suffered a minor cut on his head in his match with Kofi.
The official delayed the match to take care of it and since those present were sounding their unhappiness, the announcers tried to make excuses as to why this was being done. Michael Cole stated that if Chavo's blood entered in his eyes, he could go blind.
This also happened to Edge recently during a SmackDown! taping.

LMAO! They had to stop the match because blood in Chavo's eyes might make him go blind. LOL! Geez, they are having a hard time coming to terms with the PG stuff, the announcers didn't even know what too say.

A little kid watching WWE and Michael Cole tells that if blood gets into your eyes you could be blinded? I imagine a scene right now.
A kid is doing his skateboard training, them he accidently cuts his forehead when bailing out. Them after he realizes he is cut he runs screaming "HELP PLEASE, BEFORE I GET BLIND" lol

WWE was way better back in the days they had all kind of matchs:buried alive,first blood,inferno,hardcore,etc...but now they dont do that stuff anymore and say wrestlers can't wresle for some blood and now they are censuring evrything that looks a bit of extreme for exemple chair shots and while im at it almost all good talent left WWE:the rock,brock lesnar,stone cold steve austin,RVD,booker T,kurt angle,etc... its just like WWE just got screwed by vince mcmahon...

#15 to answer your question. I believe it was stated by the news that since Linda McMahon (Mr. McMahon's wife) started running as a Republican for Senate in CT that the PG rating got really ratched-up for WWE. I don't think its a network thing but I could be wrong. TNA is on Spike TV which proclaims itself a 'guy' network so they have no problem going beyond PG every single show now, check them out if you haven't yet. I haven't watched any WWE since TNA started on Mondays.

ive alway liked the wwe but only recentl been able to watch it full time i wish i could have seen the attidue era and all the hardcore moves and the blood and they shud still be able to do it pg means parental gudience and is said it may have violoence if parents arnt happy they cant complain because its a pg and then again most of the dvds are 15's so just go back to the attidue era and i saw a comment saying its not okay for them to bleed but its okay for someone to pretend to be jeff hardy :\ thts not the wwe's fault it clearly states DO no try this at home

To be honest, if they are going to go the PG no blood, no gore, no fun route, I like what they did. It gives the impression of a real sporting contest. I never thought I'd say this, but bravo WWE. (PS: It still sucks lol)

the PG rating is strictly a WWE thing ... the USA channel is a cable channel and does not fall under the regulations of the FCC (they only control the "free" over the air channels) ... but, on the other hand, a lot of cable channels have "self-policed" themselves to comply with the FCC ...

Although it's not as good as the proper NO PG wrestling, if you watch it late at night it doesn't censor chair shots and stuff. I watch the late night one, it's better than the day time one.

See MVD, not looking up the info for a source and you get people like Peter saying you did a good job. Although in between the 2 comments I said you had it wrong. So whats the point of having an Extreme Rules PPV if there's no blood? whats the point of having a Hell in the Cell match with no blood? You dont have to have blood in every single match, but when blood is involved in a match it makes the match a little more realistic for the viewers

Comment 23, I hope she does get the senate seat. Then hopefully WWE will go MA again. And I agree with you Comment 28, why have an Extreme Rules PPV if they can't show blood? Why have Hell in a Cell PPV with no blood? Yeah, some matches don't have to have blood but we should have at least a little. It makes it more realistic for us and makes us have a great time at the show.

Almost 80% of all original fans of the WWE who supported it frm the start hate the current material WWE shows currently. We were the ones that made it a hit n now it's as if it has turned its back on us.
We'd really like a separate brand such as "Hardcore Heaven" instead of "Superstars" or sth. where real wrestlers give the fans what they paid to see!
The Cruiserweights should also be brought back and given a proper Championship to give them a reason to fight for. BTW ppl hate the current Diva matches... they're boring as hell, unless of course if it were hardcore, remove the Divas title or sth n recreate the Cruiserwts title.
TNA makes gr8 use of it cruiserweights and has presented many memorable, unique and never-b4 seen matches...moves n stunts. WWE is more suited for kids 0-13 or sth currently...
