WWE Ignores Dead Wrestler's Family Requests

As you might have read, Angelo Poffo, Randy Savage's father, passed away on the 4th of March this year.

Following the death of his father, Randy Savage contacted both WWE and TNA requesting a message to be read at his father's funeral.

Whilst TNA sent a message, WWE ignored the request.

This treatment from WWE has upset the Poffo family especially when Randy Savage spent nearly ten years in a WWE owned company (WWF) and only a year in TNA.

heh and you people flooded me with critique because I spoke against WWE being inhumane for not mentioning Umaga's death, for firing a diva who was pregnant etc... ADD ANOTHER INHUMANE CASE to WWE's record

WWE does care! Look at how they are trying to protect their fragile superstars from injury by turning wrestling matches into 5th grade school girl slap fights.

I don't mean to sound insensitive, but why do they need to read a message at the funeral of a guy who never even worked for them?

This guy didn't work for WWE, so I don't see why they should have to send a public message about his passing.

I am sure that they have been sympathetic with Randy.

The Macho Man has banged Steph when she was underage. He'll never be mentioned and he'll never be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Just live with it.
And if you were Vince, I'm sure you would have done the same. Savage is a child molester and he deserves this treatment

I wouldn't call it inhumane, it's more heartless then inhumane. Inhumane would mean that the WWE was torturing Randy Savage by making him watch as his father died in a brutal car accident or something worst.

Although I believe that WWE has the right not to say anything, on the other hand I think they should show some respect for a man who did work for them for years.

Why do you need to see blood for a wrestling match to be good?
When you say Randy Savage slept with Steph when she was udnerage how old was he & she respectively? I am sorta curious
I do agree that WWE going PG is crap though.

The WWE is absolutely sick. They have killed everything. When the WWE needed Savage, they asked him for a lot, and when Savage want some back, they say no. How does that work?
